- Use LexiYar fairly and lawfully, and give us accurate information.
- You own the content you create. We use it only to run LexiYar.
- AI-generated content can contain mistakes. Teachers are responsible for reviewing it before using it.
- Users under 16 may use LexiYar only with permission from a parent or guardian.
1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
LexiYar is operated by Fabsolutions. These terms are an agreement between you and us about your use of LexiYar, including our website and app.
By creating an account or using LexiYar, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use LexiYar.
2. THE BETA
LexiYar is currently in beta. This means:
- The service is still being developed and may contain bugs or errors.
- Features may be added, changed or removed at any time.
- The service may be unavailable at times, and we don't guarantee any level of uptime.
- We may need to reset or remove data during the beta. We will try to warn you first.
- We may end the beta, or move to a paid service, at any time. We will tell you before that happens.
3. WHO CAN USE LEXIYAR
- Users under 16 may use LexiYar only with permission from a parent or guardian.
- You must give accurate information when you create an account, including your name and email address.
- If you use LexiYar on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
4. YOUR ACCOUNT
- Keep your password secure and don't share your account with anyone.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed your account.
5. TEACHERS
If you use LexiYar as a teacher:
- Only invite students you actually teach, and share your teacher code only with them.
- Use students' data only to teach them, and keep it confidential.
- Review AI-generated content before giving it to students. You are responsible for the lessons, homework and feedback you deliver.
6. STUDENTS
If you use LexiYar as a student:
- Complete evaluations and homework yourself.
- Your teacher can see your evaluation results, homework, progress and messages.
7. ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not:
- break any law, or use LexiYar to harm, harass or threaten anyone
- upload content that is illegal, offensive, or that you don't have the right to share
- try to access accounts or data that aren't yours
- try to break, overload, hack or reverse-engineer LexiYar
- use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access LexiYar
- resell, copy or redistribute LexiYar or its content without our permission
- give false information, including about your age
8. YOUR CONTENT
- You own the content you create on LexiYar, such as homework answers, messages, edited lessons and feedback.
- You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run LexiYar and provide it to you, your teacher or your students.
- This permission ends when you delete your content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain in backups for a limited time, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. AI-GENERATED CONTENT
- LexiYar uses AI to assess levels and to generate lessons, homework and feedback.
- AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. Don't rely on it without checking it.
- You may use the AI-generated content you receive for your own teaching or learning.
10. OUR PROPERTY
LexiYar, including its name, logo, design, software and the content we provide, belongs to Fabsolutions. These terms don't give you any rights to it beyond using LexiYar as described here.
11. FEEDBACK
During the beta we welcome your feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve LexiYar without paying you or owing you anything.
12. FEES
LexiYar is free during the beta.
If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you about the prices in advance. You will never be charged without agreeing to it first.
13. SUSPENDING OR CLOSING ACCOUNTS
- You can stop using LexiYar and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use puts other users or LexiYar at risk.
- When an account is closed, we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. DISCLAIMERS
LexiYar is provided "as is" and "as available", especially during the beta. As far as the law allows, we make no promises that LexiYar will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose, or that it will lead to any particular learning results.
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
As far as the law allows, LexiYar is not responsible for any indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of data, income or opportunities, that results from using or being unable to use LexiYar.
Because LexiYar is free during the beta, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to USD 100.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under laws that can't be excluded by agreement.
16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms as LexiYar changes. If we make important changes, we will let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using LexiYar after that, you accept the updated terms.
